The idea for Key's Tea was derived from working at the Lake Eola farmers market in Orlando, FL. At that farmers market we would make it fresh (similar to fresh lemonade at a carnival.) After hurricane Irma, Armando (Keys Tea CEO) came to the Florida Keys to do on-site metal roof roll-forming. The hurricane damage kept him very busy. As it started slowing down Armando had the crazy idea of building a full sized cup as a vending station mimicking the exact cup that he used to serve at the Lake Eola farmers market. When people started tasting it the big question was "Do you have any to go in cans?" Hearing this so much, he realized there was a need for canned Key's Tea. Armando embarked on a three and a half year journey later, and created what you're drinking today; IN A CAN.
